Suvarnbhumi known as "Golden Land" which means a land rich with cultural and natural attractions during as early as the 3rd century B.C. The kingdom of Suvarnabhumi extended from southern Burma across the central plain of what is now Thailand to eastern Cambodia. Suvarnbhumi, therefore, evokes intersecting images of history, economy, religion and culture.
