Chiang Mai Flower festival was scheduled on February 1-3, 2002.
The venue is Suan Buok Had, Amphoe Muang, Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is very famous for having some truly valley
flowers. Most blomm early in January to February. Colorful flowers like African marigold, globe amaranth, orchids, Ban chun, chrysanthemum,
celosia and assorted roses like Famui and thin Uang Dok Lek. February is the most beautiful month of Chiang Mai. The celebratory atmosphere
and the grand flower festival is organized.
Activities during the Flower Festival are
Miss Flower Pageant and floral floats procession, Agriculture exhibition and flower contests, garden arrangement contests, stores selling local goods.
